The Paradise low voltage connector GL22351 (black) is compatible with any 18, 16, 14 and 12 SPT-2W landscape wires. Our patented splice connector is easy to use and makes connecting your lighting system safe and simple. It can be used as a "T" connector or to simply connect a lighting fixture.
Low voltage splicing techniques Without a waterproof splice connection, any system will develop voltage loss and low-grade shorts making your lighting .
Lay out your light fixtures and wire. Use 10-gauge wire for the main lines from the transformer to where the lights begin, then switch to 12-gauge wire between the lights. To bury the wires where they cross the lawn, use a flat-nosed shovel to cut a slot and fold back the sod. Bury these wires at least 6 in.
You can splice low voltage wires with solder and electrical tape or with various. Use a splice kit to join low–voltage outdoor wiring, such as landscape lighting.
